Fresh off his comedic role as Raith Woodward in the off-Broadway show "Masked" By Glynn Cosker, Chad Moores is a seasoned actor, singer, voice actor, and comedian. Chad recently moved to RI to continue his work in acting, directing, and play writing."As a playwright, my work delves into the complexities of human relationships and the nuanced interplay between memory and identity.

 

My plays, 'How Did It Go Again' and 'Echoes of Cobi,' both explore the themes of regret, redemption, and the echoes of our past that shape our present. Growing up with a keen interest in storytelling, I’ve always been fascinated by how people cope with their inner struggles and the ways in which their past experiences influence their actions and emotions.My artistic vision centers around the exploration of human resilience and the pursuit of understanding oneself amidst the chaos of life. 'How Did It Go Again' examines the protagonist’s desire to rewrite his past and come to terms with his regrets, while 'Echoes of Cobi' explores the impact of an abusive relationship and the protagonist's journey towards healing and self-discovery. Through my plays, I aim to shed light on the raw, unfiltered aspects of human emotion, encouraging audiences to reflect on their own lives and relationships.My creative process is deeply rooted in character development and dialogue. I strive to create authentic, multi-dimensional characters whose interactions reveal their inner conflicts and desires. In 'How Did It Go Again,' I juxtapose the protagonist’s past and present selves to highlight his evolution and the internal struggle between regret and acceptance. 'Echoes of Cobi' employs a similar technique, using the interplay of memories and real-time events to unravel the protagonist's emotional journey. My writing often involves multiple drafts, where I meticulously refine the dialogue and narrative structure to ensure the story resonates deeply with the audience."
